There are several elementary music festivals in District 2. Basically they are made up of supervisory unions.
Lamoille
Orleans Central Supervisory Union
Takes place at Lake Region Union High School.
North Country Supervisory Union
This festival usually takes place in February. It has taken place at North Country Union Junior High School, Newport City Elementary School and Derby Elementary School. The festival lasts one day, with students eating lunch and supper at the festival. Students in grades 5 & 6 are eligible to take part in the Concert Band, and students in grades 4,5,6 are eligible to take part in the Festival Chorus. Recommendations should be sent in before December 1st.
